The Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) in
2024 was 0.0025 compared with 0.0037 in 2022.
The MPI in urban areas remained at 0.0001 in
both 2022 and 2024, while in rural areas it improved from 0.0164 in 2022 to
0.0109 in 2024.
The education dimension recorded an
improvement from 0.0003 in 2022 to 0.0002 in 2024. By indicator under the education
dimension, the years of schooling indicator improved from 0.00025 in 2022 to
0.00012 in 2024, while the school attendance indicator improved from 0.00012 in
2022 to 0.00008 in 2024.
The health dimension recorded an improvement
from 0.0027 in 2022 to 0.0019 in 2024. By indicator under the health dimension,
the access to health services indicator improved from 0.00126 in 2022 to
0.00086 in 2024, while the access to clean water supply indicator improved from
0.00141 in 2022 to 0.00102 in 2024.
The standard of living dimension recorded an
improvement from 0.0007 in 2022 to 0.0004 in 2024. By indicators under the
standard of living dimension, the housing condition indicator improved from
0.00009 in 2022 to 0.00006 in 2024, while the room density indicator improved
from 0.00011 in 2022 to 0.00007 in 2024. The household sanitation facilities
indicator improved from 0.00002 in 2022 to 0.00001 in 2024, while the access to
waste collection services indicator improved from 0.00042 in 2022 to 0.00028 in
2024. The use of transport facilities indicator remained at 0.00001 in both
2022 and 2024, while the access to basic communication equipment indicator
improved from 0.00003 in 2022 to 0.00000 in 2024.
