Job Offering Advertised Online, Second Quarter 2025

The number of online job offerings advertised in the second quarter of 2025 increased by 7.1 per cent to 281,736.

Job Offering Advertised Online for Major Group Occupation

Nearly half of the online job offerings were in the Professionals category, accounting for 45.8 per cent or 129,041 job offerings in the second quarter of 2025, compared with 126,255 job offerings in the first quarter of 2025. In terms of occupational categories, Technicians and Associate Professionals recorded the highest number of job offerings at 63,803, followed by Managers with 48,864 job offerings. Higher demand was also observed for Administrative Associate Professionals (34,034 job offerings), Advertising and Marketing Professionals (21,663 job offerings), Managing Directors and Chief Executives (12,954 job offerings), Accountants and Auditors (9,990 job offerings) and Administrative Professionals (7,544 job offerings).

Job Offering Advertised Online for Economic Activities

The Services sector dominated online job offerings, accounting for 64.7 per cent or 167,274 job offerings in the second quarter of 2025, compared with 63.6 per cent in the first quarter of 2025. Within the Services sector, Wholesale and Retail Trade sub-sector recorded the highest number of job offerings at 44,927. This was followed by Professional, Scientific and Technical Activities with 26,441 job offerings, Administrative and Support Service Activities with 25,673 job offerings, Financial and Insurance/Takaful Activities with 22,266 job offerings, and the Manufacturing sector with 20,816 job offerings.
