The 29th Meeting of the Sub-Committee on Planning and Coordination (SCPC29) was held on 19 – 20 February 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and was hosted by the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM). The meeting was chaired by Mr. Abang Saifulhadi bin Abang Haji Ibrahim from DOSM. Representatives from all ten ASEAN Member States, ASEAN Secretariat staff and Timor-Leste as an observer participated in the event. Malaysia’s hosting demonstrated its active leadership role in facilitating regional statistical cooperation and capacity-building.
