Mr. Abdul Latif Abd Kadir, Principal Assistant Director, International Trade Statistics Division This meeting was discussed the preparation and arrangements, including the confirmation of the signing Minister for the FoC in CIQ. Additionally, also updated on the progress of the WGTI IB 2022-2026 indicators related to the CIQ SWG. This meeting was discussed the data and progress of the WGTI IB 2022-2026 indicators related to the ITITD SWG and updated the progress and agree on the timeline for the submission of the finalized IMT-GT Statistical Booklet 2024. This meeting was discussed the reports and progress updates from member countries on activities such as: 1) The implementation of projects/programmes under IB 2022-2026.
2) SWG ITITD and SWG CIQ.
3) IMT-GT JBC projects.
4) IMT-GT UNINET’S projects.
5) 31st IMT-GT SOM and the 30th IMT-GT MM to be held in September 2024 in Johor, Malaysia.
DOSM is involved in reporting for SWG ITITD, providing data for the statistical booklet, IB 2022-2026 and intra IMT-GT data.
