The 55th session of the United Nations Statistical Commission (UNSC) in New York is just around the corner, where chief statisticians and heads of the National Statistical System from across the globe will convene to define the future of international statistical standards and methodologies. DOSM is honoured to demonstrate our commitment to the commission and eagerly anticipates our participation!
The UN55SC, the apex body of the global statistical system, is scheduled to convene virtually from February 27th to March 1st, 2024, to deliberate on a pivotal decision aimed at enhancing the system. Malaysia will be represented by esteemed leaders, YBhg. Dato' Sri Dr. Mohd Uzir Mahidin, Chief Statistician of Malaysia, and Ms. Ezatul Nisha Abdul Rahman, Director of the Strategic Communication and International Statistics Division.
