Opening remarks by YBhg. Dato' Sri Dr. Mohd Uzir Mahidin, Chief Statistician Malaysia, reaffirmed Malaysia and China’s collaboration in statistics. DOSM overview covered its structure, governance, services, operations and international collaboration. Digital Economy overview explained the framework, definitions, key milestones and data compilation approach. E-Commerce Survey session shared Malaysia’s experience, including methodology, implementation and analysis based on establishment level data.
