ICT ACCESS BY HOUSEHOLDS, MALAYSIA
The percentage of households access to Internet, pay TV channel, radio showed an increase to 90.1 per cent (3.1 percentage points), 75.8 per cent (2.7 percentage points) and 97.2 per cent (1.5 percentage points) respectively. In contrast, the percentage of access to fixed-line telephone, television and computer showed a decrease to 23.5 per cent (-3.0 percentage points), 97.6 per cent (-1.0 percentage points) and 71.3 per cent (-0.4 percentage points) respectively. Meanwhile the percentage of households access to mobile phone remained at 98.2 per cent in 2019.

ICT USE BY INDIVIDUALS, MALAYSIA
The percentage of individuals using the Internet increased by 3.0 percentage points from 81.2 per cent in 2018 to 84.2 per cent in 2019. The percentage of individuals using computers increased by 1.6 percentage points from 70.5 per cent in 2018 to 72.1 per cent in 2019. Meanwhile the percentage of individuals using mobile phone remained at 97.9 in 2019

INTERNET ACTIVITIES BY INDIVIDUALS, MALAYSIA
The main Internet activities by individuals were participating in social networks (97.1%) continues to be the most popular activity among Internet users. This was followed by activities of downloading images, movies, videos or music; playing or downloading games (84.7%), finding information about goods or services (83.5%), telephoning over the Internet/ VoIP (77.4%) and downloading software or applications (77.1%).
